Thy Days are Numbered



Here's an example of the plight faced by many grand old barns across rural America. They are becoming relics and offer little practicality in today's farming world. Their owners might covert them into shops, garages, or storage units but as functioning outbuildings in the traditional sense, alas no more.

Upkeep and insurance are costly matters. This particular barn from Western Montana collapsed about three weeks after this shot was taken.
